Women’s Jiu-Jitsu

Women’s Jiu-Jitsu Program

At Renzo Gracie Round Rock and Renzo Gracie Pflugerville, we take real pride in building a women’s program where women of all ages, body types, and experience levels feel welcome from their very first class.

  • Some women start for self-defense.
  • Some start for fitness.
  • Many are simply looking for a positive environment to train.
  • Most quickly discover they’ve found a strong and supportive community.

You do not need experience to begin — just the willingness to step onto the mat.

A Safe Place to Train

Creating a safe training environment is one of the most important priorities in our academy.
Our women’s program is built around:
  • respectful training partners
  • structured instruction
  • supportive coaching
  • a beginner-friendly learning pace
  • a culture that welcomes new students
Many women feel nervous before their first class. Almost all of them tell us that feeling disappears quickly once they meet the team

Dedicated Women’s Classes

We offer dedicated women’s classes designed to make starting jiu-jitsu comfortable and approachable.
These classes help students:
  • build confidence early
  • learn strong fundamentals
  • train with consistent partners
  • develop real self-defense skills
  • progress at their own pace
Some students stay primarily in women’s classes. Others expand into mixed classes later. Both paths are fully supported.

A Supportive Women’s Community

One of the strongest parts of our academy is the women’s team itself.
New students quickly find:
  • encouragement from training partners
  • mentorship from experienced students
  • friendships that extend beyond training
  • a welcoming atmosphere from day one

This sense of community is one of the biggest reasons women continue training long-term.

Women’s Open Mat Summer Series

Come train with the Renzo Gracie Lone Star Team at our women’s open mat.
This is a welcoming space for women of all experience levels to get rounds in, meet other women in the jiu-jitsu community, and spend time on the mats together.
