I had an excellent experience training at Renzo Gracie Round Rock. From the moment I walked in, the team was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The instructors are highly knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do, which really shows in the quality of the training.
The facility itself is very clean and well-maintained, which is something I really value when visiting a gym. As someone who travels frequently for work, finding a place like this is a huge bonus. I’ll definitely be planning my future trips to Austin around staying nearby so I can continue training here.

I cannot say enough good things about Renzo Gracie Round Rock! Our group of Canadians from Surge MMA recently dropped in, and we were blown away by the hospitality. From the moment we walked through the door, the team provided an incredibly warm welcome that made us feel right at home despite being over 1,500 miles from our home mats.
The facility itself is top-notch. It is impressively clean and well-maintained, which is always a high priority for us when visiting other gyms. You can tell the staff takes great pride in the environment they’ve built.
As for the training, the professional instruction is world-class. The professors are technical, articulate, and highly attentive, ensuring everyone—from visitors to regulars—gets quality rolls and actionable feedback. Beyond the technique, there is a fantastic positive vibe and a genuine sense of camaraderie throughout the gym. No egos, just great people looking to get better.
If you’re in the Round Rock area or just passing through Texas, this is a must-visit academy. Thank you again for having the Surge MMA crew; we’ll definitely be back next time we’re south of the border!

I love this gym
As a seasoned martial artist i can tell you how great this gym is. It doesnt matter if this is your first day ever trying grappling/martial arts or your 20th year.
It's a very welcoming and encouraging environment.
The coaches have amazing technique and are very patient.
I thought my BJJ was great and then I figured out I had a lot to learn.
It's a great gym for either a casual person to train or someone geared towards competition.
Renzo Gracie round Rock also has the best noon program I have ever been to.
Noon class 5 days a week averaging 20+ people.
I hope to see you on the mats!

Renzo Gracie Round Rock has been an excellent experience for our son. He’s been training here for about six months, and we absolutely love this studio.

Every coach is outstanding. Professor Gabe and Coaches Charlie and Leanne pack each session with real instruction and hands on guidance. The kids aren’t just herded through drills. Each group is closely monitored and mentored the entire time, which means they get maximum value from every class.

What really sets this place apart is that they teach more than technique. They emphasize sportsmanship, ethics, discipline, and community. You can feel that culture the moment you walk in.

I didn’t want the year to end without writing a review for this incredible team. Our son has learned tremendous skills over the past six months, both on and off the mats, and we can’t wait to see where the next six months take him. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a serious, positive, and well-run jiu-jitsu program for their kids as well as adults.

As a total BJJ newbie, I have to say that starting training at RGRR this last month has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time! The atmosphere is nothing short of incredible, and it’s all thanks to the fantastic crew running the show here. Whether you’re rolling with a seasoned vet or another rookie like me, the vibes are always positive, supportive, and just plain fun. Honestly can't get enough of the time I spend on these mats with such an awesome community. If you're even mildly interested in martial arts or self-development, I'd highly recommend!

I am leaning a new martial art that is very new to me. The instructors are very patient while teaching. Everyone is very friendly and helpful when it comes to helping you learn and progress in the style. I am learning to enjoy the process.

I've been a student at Renzo Gracie Round Rock for about 4 months now. I am absolutely loving it so far. I normally go to the bjj fundamentals class with instructor Cam a couple of times a week. She is an amazing teacher with a great sense of humor. She does a really good job watching each student individually and offering feedback. Class is always fun and we always have good vibes.

I've been impressed with how welcoming and helpful everyone is here. It's such a great community and I'm making some great friends along the way. I was an absolute beginner when I started this, and was intimidated to get started. All of my fear about being a new student quickly dissolved though once I got going. This is a great place to train. I highly recommend the fundamentals classes with Cam. She is the best!

I joined the gym recently and I'm very happy with my decision. I was anxious about joining a BJJ gym at an older age with zero experience. However, everyone at the gym has been super helpful and the instructors (Professors) have been top notch. I go to their NoGi classes and it's been a blast.
